Who we are
Tech Corner is a trading style of MTR Group Limited. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact support@tech-corner.co.uk with any question about it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, postal address and telephone number, so we can take an order, deliver it, and reach you about it. - What you bought or traded in, and what was paid. - For a trade-in, the details of the device including its IMEI or serial number. - Messages you send us, and our replies.
We do not store card numbers. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; we receive only a confirmation and a reference.
Why we hold it
To take and fulfil orders, to buy devices from you and pay for them, to answer you, and to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep.
How long
Order and trade-in records are kept for six years, which is the period UK tax law requires. Messages are kept while they are useful and then deleted.
Who else sees it
- The delivery service that brings your parcel. - Our payment providers, for the payment itself. - Our email provider, to send you order and trade-in emails.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email support@tech-corner.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
